Hollis Demasters: stupid polls Oklahoma gets beat by an un-ranked team, Florida, Texas gets beat, heck there was 8 teams that got beat in the top 25, but they only dropped a few in the polls Nebraska loses to USC and they practically dropped out of the top 25, sounds like a little bit side betting going on, can anyone say CONTROVERSY.
Kimberlee Bowdish: Exactly! It seems to me to be premature to chest-pound, either way, seeing that USC is #1 in the only two polls that count ( http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/polls ). Also, there is a lot of football to play, and neither may be undefeated by the end of the season. Mark Hovanes: thats right but all the polls suck really. BCS is way out of whack and the AP doesnt even really determine anything. college football needs a playoff system.

Clemmie Burkleo: Polls are simply a group of people voicing their opinions. I have an opinion and I think I can determine who is ranked and what number. The advantage these polls have over just me is that they have access to much more information than I do. The three polls you mention all form their list by different methods. The deciding poll for the college is the BCS poll which will not rank the teams for another few weeks.
