What Makes A Cell Phone Vibrate?

Keneth Mailhot: magic

Reyes Brunell: A flywheel motor with a weight is attached to one side. When the motor turns, the weight throws it off balance and creates a wobble. That wobble causes the whole device, be it a friendly plush monster or a sleek cell phone, to jiggle.

Debora Soliani: a vibrator

Alise Rutgers: The battery.

Wilburn Denice: I'm not sure about a cell phone, but I know a Play station controller has a little motor that swings a weight around to cause it to vibrate. There might be something like that in a cell phone.

Lilli Kochel: contrary to popular belief it isn't actually an electric motor (they use too much electricity). Inside your phone is a small self-contained nuclear fission generator that activates when a small current is passed through it (0.000154 volts). This causes it to open up a tiny parallel universe inside your phone that contains nothing but michael j fox clones. The resulting tremors are what causes your phone! to vibrate. Hope that helps.

Gregg Hagge: It is made to work by the battery and the person that calls you Peace!!.......

Neville Dautremont: when someone calls you or Jesus

Antonia Quinnett: Good question...

Omar Phipps: you can go to menu and go to ringer volume and it should say vibrate
