advantage n disadvantage of food canned?

Ronnie Sardi: Advantages; You get the attention. People look at you. Disadvantages: Since you are getting the attention, you are telling others to rob you. Also, carrying lots of unnecessary stuffs with you will consistently make you worry about losing and damaging them.

Curt Broadhead: This is a debate which has had a bit of media attention over the last few months. Canned vegetables and fruit can tend to have more vitamin C to help to preserve it, but also a higher sodium content which is not so good.I still personally think that you can't beat nature in its purest form, but certainly as a short term option I don't see a problem with canned food.

Rick Duchane: advantage, food is preserved and lasts longer;disadvantage, when you consume it, you also consume the preservatives (which are unhealthy); this is not to mention the metal of the can that may also leach into the food;if you want to stock up on foods but do not want them to spoil, try dried foods; moist! ure is the main culprit to spoilage (aside from exposure to air and the sun, but the bacteria will still need water to digest); when food is preserved by drying, only the water is taken out; nothing bad is added and nothing good is taken out;...Show more
