Donte Liversedge: in my state we don't have amusement parks nor can go to any as i live on an island only thing we have is a water park and a few carnivals. never been to the water park before so i can't say but the carnivals here are typically held at highschools so it's not that big. usually they are for fundraisers and one in particular a LOT of people go to but there is no parking so either have to go early or catch a taxi or something. the biggest carnival here is once a year and it's a decent size but the rides tend to suck they are not too insane more for kids in middle school or younger. most people go for the food as the food is good. there tends to be a lot of people as well and sometimes there are fights but there are lots of cops around for security reasons.so i guess carnivals. if i lived in a state that had an amusement park i'd pick amusement parks i like to ride the rides....Show more

Dexter Dingus: Where I live, we have a fantastic water park and it is terrific. It also has an amusement park with it, but the main attraction is the water park. So I opt for water park, which is open all summer. Yes!We also have state fairs, which have carnivals and amusement parks, but they are only open for a specific period once a year. I absolutely love roller coasters! The fairs also have rodeos, the Budweiser horses, Lipizzan Stallions, and Country Singer stars scheduled on different days, plus more.
