Woodrow Neyman: Delta IS a good plan, but not available for individuals.Think of it from the insurance company point of view: if they cover a large group, chances are only a limited number of people will use the plan and they will take in more money than they will pay out.If an individual wants dental insurance, it's because they already KNOW they are going to use it. Thus, they can't possibly charge more in premiums than they pay out to a dental office. There's no way! to make money on individual dental insurance.You could not, for example, go to a car insurance company and say, "I need auto insurance because I plan to total my car this year."You are right to stay away from "discount dental plans."
